Know Yourself - Know exactly what type of show you're putting own, and if you fit within the event, organization and/or venue's vibe. No matter how versatile you are, you need to be able to clearly define what you'll bring to the table.

Proof of Concept - Booking managers, talent buyers, event curators, and promoters needs to know your realistic draw. If you've done your own shows or other performances, you should know your expected draw. If your draw is low, it's time to collaborate and work with artists or promoters to bring out a good crowd.

A Prepared Set - This isn't time to wing it, this is your time to shine, so be prepared. DJs should practice a set that fits the vibe of the night. Vocal performers should know their music inside-out, practice breath control and have strong stage presence. (DON'T CUP THE MIC)
